Dupont Studio Offices

A full rehab of this historic property included new interiors for the walk-up studio offices and streetfront retail. Office spaces were opened up to take advantage of the natural light at the perimeter by eliminating walls and incorporating window walls. Full height sidelites are arranged at each office to allow a line of sight throughout the long narrow space. A loft-like space is created with vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, and spiral ductwork. Accent colors are reflected both inside and outside the spaces to identify each one.

Old marble floors and wood millwork was refurbished to keep the character of the building intact. Materials and building systems were chosen for their sustainable, resource efficient properties – including EnergyStar rated equipment, low VOC paints and sealers, high content recycled carpet and flooring, and low flow plumbing fixtures.
